Tifdwarf, the longtime standard for Bermuda greens, is still preferred by many golf course superintendents. Tifdwarf requires less maintenance than the ultradwarfs while affording a high quality putting surface.

Tifgreen 328 still has a place on golf courses where maintenance costs need to be kept to the bare minimum. Many superintendents are convinced that Tifgreen is the most cold hardy of all bermuda greens grasses. A very acceptable putting surface can be attained using the oldest of the Bermuda greens grasses from the Tifton, Georgia breeding programs.
